The Ridgeview Chamber Orchestra

The Ridgeview Chamber Orchestra is the honor orchestra of the school. The members of this performance group are the main representative of the Ridgeview Orchestra, displaying exemplary examples of musicianship and dedication. This group has been recognized for their superb performances at Georgia Music Educators Association sanctioned functions,  have been invited to perform at Symphony Hall, City Springs Performing Arts Center, and the South Eastern Music Festival, have received consecutive Superior rating during the annual state Large Group Performance Evaluations, have received individual small group Superior and Excellent ratings during annual state Solo and Ensemble Evaluations, and have performed countless times in the City of Sandy Springs community.

 

This group performs concerts outside the classroom setting, whether it is for school functions or in the community. This group is for the talented and exceptionally committed. If chosen, students are EXPECTED to attend rehearsals AND performances when scheduled.

Students audition to participate in this honor orchestra the year prior to the new academic year.
