RCMS Concert Orchestra

 

This orchestra consists of 6th grade and beginning level 7th grade students. In this orchestra, students are introduced or reintroduced to the instruments of the String Orchestra. Students learn the basic skills and techniques to perform and advance to a high level of performing. Concert Orchestra students are required to practice daily, at least 30 minutes, but more time will improve skills and technique. To become proficient on any instrument, students NEED TO PRACTICE! Weekly performance tests and quizzes will determine if students practice at home. Students who were in an orchestra program last year and might need reinforcement of material will receive the material and music for this orchestra.
